Who these terms apply to
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Elevate Costa Rica website (elevatecostarica.com) and any services we provide, including trip planning consultations and planning packages. By using our site or services, you agree to these terms. Elevate Costa Rica is a Costa Rican company operating under the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica.
Our services
Elevate Costa Rica provides travel concierge services, including: free 20–30 minute discovery consultations via Zoom; paid trip planning packages (starting at $250 CAD, with pricing varying based on trip complexity and scope) that include custom itinerary building, partner coordination, and pre-trip support; optional add-ons such as airport transfer coordination, private guide arrangements, and specialty packages. We act as a concierge and coordinator — not as a travel agent or tour operator. We do not book or pay for third-party services on your behalf. All bookings with guides, accommodation providers, and tour operators are made directly by you and governed by those providers' own terms.
Consultation calls
Free consultations are provided at no cost and with no obligation to purchase. We reserve the right to decline a consultation request if we determine we are not the right fit for a client's needs.
Planning package — payment and delivery
The trip planning package fee (starting at $250 CAD, with the exact amount confirmed before payment) is charged upon your decision to proceed following the consultation call. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Once payment is received, we will deliver your completed plan within 7–10 business days. The plan includes the items specified on our Services page at the time of purchase.
Refund policy
If you are not satisfied with your planning package, contact us at hello@elevatecostarica.com within 7 days of delivery. We will work with you to revise the plan or, at our discretion, issue a partial or full refund. We want every client to leave with a plan they are genuinely excited about. Free consultations are not eligible for refunds as no payment is taken.
What we are not responsible for
Elevate Costa Rica is not a licensed travel agency. We do not hold funds on your behalf, and we do not assume liability for: cancellations, changes, or failures by third-party providers (guides, accommodation, tours, airlines, or transport); events outside our control including weather, natural disasters, strikes, illness, or government travel advisories; personal injury, loss, or damage that occurs during your trip. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip.
Accuracy of information
We provide information about Costa Rica, our partners, and travel conditions based on our best knowledge and on-the-ground relationships. Conditions can change. We do not guarantee that information about destinations, pricing, or availability provided in your plan will remain accurate at the time of your travel. Always verify critical details (entry requirements, health advisories, partner availability) before departure.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including copy, design, itinerary structures, and documentation — is the property of Elevate Costa Rica. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content commercially without written permission.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Costa Rica.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
